What Do a Thousand Idiots Look Like?

Given what little they know about the case, a new poll (1) finds that 5 times as many blacks as whites (51% to 10%) think George Zimmerman is "definitely guilty," and twice as many blacks as non-blacks believe Trayvon Martin’s shooter would have been arrested if Martin had been white (2).

Now why would I say that they are clueless, brain-washed idiots? Let's look at the facts: the police at first did take Zimmerman into the station in handcuffs but declined to charge him after five hours of interrogation and taking all the following into consideration: they noticed he was bleeding and showed signs of having been beaten, items which were corroborated by witnesses at the scene. Initial police reports said Zimmerman was treated at the scene of the shooting for bleeding on the back of his head and on or from his nose. That he was cleaned up by the EMT personnel explains why his face and back of his head were not covered in blood when he arrives at the police station.
We've all heard the 911 call where Zimmerman is yelling for help. Some idiots have put forward the idea that this was actually Trayvon yelling for help. Yeah, right - short and pudgy Zimmerman has Trayvon on the ground and is beating him up. Does anyone in their heart really believe an over six-foot tall thug is on his back yelling for help?
Definitely guilty? Not quite definite for me.
As for the silly notion that Zimmerman would have been arrested if Martin had been white, what nonsense. Police always arrest (3) and charge white criminals when they murder blacks; however the operative word here is 'murder.'
The problem with the Trayvon Martin shooting is that racial hatred is at the heart of the case. Racial hatred of whites, that is.

The racial divide on Zimmerman's guilt was also big: 51 percent of black people said Zimmerman is "definitely guilty" based on the information available, compared to only 10 percent of whites. About 20 percent of both whites and blacks said Zimmerman was "probably guilty."

BBC News, 8 Apr 2012, Oklahoma murders: Police hold two in Tulsa
Police in Oklahoma have arrested two white men after three people, all black, were shot dead on Friday.
Two other black victims are in a critical condition in hospital following the shootings in Tulsa.
The suspects have been named by police as Jake England, 19, and Alvin Watts, 32.
They are expected to face three counts of first-degree murder and two of shooting with intent to kill.
