Libya Attack - Jimmy Carter No Longer Worst US President in History
Jimmy Carter took the news about the attack on our consular buildings in Libya, Yemen and Cairo with great glee. "I can't believe that after 9/11, with turmoil in the entire Middle East, that this idiot (Obama) would leave our embassies so vulnerable to attack. I'm no longer the worst US President in History."
I have to agree. This is precisely why I voted for Obama, see my article President Barack H. Obama will make me Rich. And indeed, gold jumped past $1770 an ounce today. I love this guy.
Some people will attribute the rise in the gold price to the Fed's Q3 announcement that they will be revving up the printing presses once again in order to jump-start our dead economy; however, the market anticipated the Fed's actions since the middle of July and so we saw gold slowly rise from $1575 an ounce in the summer to over $1730 this week.
The reason gold spiked another $40 an ounce today was because the stock market shot up on the Fed's news which gave savvy investors who sold those stocks the funds to buy gold. Q3 was only indirectly responsible for the spike in gold today. Let's see what happens with gold after the Friday prayers in the Muslim world.
I am not surprised.
I am not surprised that Muslims who we aided in their struggle against their tyrants, that Muslims to whom we gave billions in aid, that Muslims to whom Obama has bent his knee in supplication and apology, that those Muslims now treat us like filthy, disgusting junkyard dogs. Not only am I not surprised, I expected it. I bet money on it. I bought gold in every form and as much as I could because I knew that appeasement brings only war.
That our government has embassies at all in any Muslim country is the stupidest thing I can think of. It is time we treated Muslim nations like they treat us.
