They Build Roads and Bridges in Russia But Where are the Entrepreneurs
In a recent speech our President insisted that entrepreneurs owe their success to government spending on infrastructure such as roads and bridges.
However, the Russian government also builds roads and bridges. In fact the former Soviet Union had more natural resources, more timber, more mines, many times the land area and a larger population than the US, so I have to ask, "Where were all the Russian entrepreneurs? Why were there so few successful businesses in Russia?"
The answer is simple: roads and bridges do not build businesses or help create entrepreneurs.
