The Endless Jewish Teapot

Constant reader Bernard Wishnia sent me an email directing me to Imgur where we are told that there is a Hidden Synagogue inside an antique teapot.

There was probably a good reason aside from artistic considerations to fabricate such an intricate and clever device. In countries that did not allow Jews to practice their faith or in which Jews, in order to survive, had to pretend to be Christians or Muslims they could roll out a synagogue or a complete Jewish household from a harmless looking little teapot, hold services, pray, and fold it all back as needed. Clever these Jews.
