Actually Florida Stand Your Ground Law is Used More By Blacks

What all the idiots like singer Stevie Wonder (1) are blind to is the fact that Blacks invoke Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law at a rate far out of proportion to their population in the state. According to a Daily Caller (2) examination of a database maintained by the Tampa Bay Times, about a third of the claims in fatal cases have been made by black defendants, and they have used the defense successfully 55 percent of the time which is a higher success rate than white defendants.

That is to say, Blacks who might have died from deadly attacks are alive because of a law that Black racists want removed because those morons believe the law is only beneficial to whites. Little do they know.

But there are some imbeciles, like Philip Bump writing at The Atlantic Wire, that still do not like the law because many of those killed, he calls them victims, are blacks as well (3). Well, my dear Philip, the reason most of the "victims" are Black is because Blacks commit the majority of crimes, so it's no accident that most people defending themselves, either black or white, are doing so against blacks. But let me straighten you out regarding the use of the term "victim": the guy standing his ground, defending himself is the victim. The attacker is not the victim.

Here are the facts: honest, law-abiding Blacks have more to fear from other Blacks than from creepy ass crackers, as I wrote in my article Blacks Killed More Blacks than the KKK Did: Blacks murder more of their own in one year than the KKK killed in a century and a half of lynchings.

That's why Blacks need a "stand-your-ground" law more than whites do. To ask for their repeal will only endanger more innocent Blacks than innocent whites. In my mind, that is a very racist thing to ask for.

SPIN, Stevie Wonder Stands His Ground, Boycotts Florida After Trayvon Martin Verdict

Wonder is boycotting Florida and any other states with "stand your ground" laws, the self-defense rules that came into focus in the case. "I decided today that until the Stand Your Ground law is abolished in Florida I will never perform there again," Wonder said Sunday in a concert in Quebec City, Canada. "As a matter of fact, wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world." The legendary singer framed his remarks as part of an effort to focus on unity rather than division.

The Daily Caller, Blacks benefit from Florida ‘Stand Your Ground’ law at disproportionate rate

African Americans benefit from Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law at a rate far out of proportion to their presence in the state’s population, despite an assertion by Attorney General Eric Holder that repealing “Stand Your Ground” would help African Americans.

Black Floridians have made about a third of the state’s total “Stand Your Ground” claims in homicide cases, a rate nearly double the black percentage of Florida’s population. The majority of those claims have been successful, a success rate that exceeds that for Florida whites.

The Atlantic Wire, No, Blacks Don't 'Benefit' from Florida's Stand Your Ground Law

idiots for trayvon martin

It is not the case, as the conservative blog The Daily Caller argues, that Florida blacks "benefit" from the state's "stand your ground" law. The site's article—"Blacks benefit from Florida 'Stand Your Ground' law at disproportionate rate"—masks the reality: That killings by black perpetrators are more likely to be found justified under the law in part because their victims also are black.

...

Nearly four-in-five killings of black people where it has been invoked have resulted in the killer being freed. It's hard to see the benefit in that.
