The Redskins should become the Washington Foreskins
At Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher's website Joe For America we read the following suggestion: Despite various polls showing that 90% of American Indians take pride in sports names reflecting their heritage, the Washington Redskins name offends those who are perpetually offended. To win more Jewish fans the team should be renamed the Washington Foreskins.
I am opposed to changing team names, or any names for that matter, if the purpose is to avoid offending people because no name exists that does not offend someone somewhere with the possible exception of the word Exxon, which has no meaning, but may be offensive to liberal tree-huggers for environmental reasons; however, I wouldn't mind seeing the Redskins team renamed the Washington Foreskins, but not to draw in Jewish fans, but to honor the dicks in Washington, D.C. including the biggest dick, Barack Obama, and not because he's black.
