Majority of Americans are Still Idiots - Believe Obama Did Not Lie
One of the enduring truths I keep in my head is this quote from Henry Mencken almost a century ago: "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."
And so we see proof of this in the latest Washington Post-ABC News poll (1) showing that a majority of Americans actually believe that Obama told what he thought to be the truth when he promised that people who liked their policies could keep them. Oh. My. God!I have nothing more to say. I am speechless.

The Washington Post-ABC survey showed respondents, by a 52 percent-to-44 percent margin, said they think Obama told people what he thought was correct at the time when he said if people who liked their policies could keep them.
