Finally Leftists Condemn Islamism
In a number of previous articles I noted that very few non-Muslim feminists, leftists, or gay groups bother to attack Islam for its misogyny, that they ignore Muslim atrocities against women and gays, and we never see them outside of the UN building protesting Ahmadinejad when he shows up.
Why should these groups have protested against Ahmadinejad? When he was President of Iran he supported the execution of people based on nothing more than their sexual preference. If a non-Muslim politician ever uttered such support there would have been blood in the streets.
Well, it finally happened. The left, feminists, and the LGBT community are all in a dither over laws recently passed by the Sultan of Brunei that include the death penalty for consensual gay sex and adultery:

The Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, announced on April 30 that a controversial new penal code featuring tough Islamic criminal punishments would be phased in beginning on May 1.

The small East Asian country Brunei may be more than 8,000 miles from Hollywood. But celebrities upset by a set of laws recently passed there that include the death penalty for consensual gay sex and adultery have a target nearby to point their concerns.
The iconic Beverly Hills Hotel and its equally high-end sister hotel Hotel Bel-Air are owned by Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, also the country’s prime minister. The properties are facing boycotts from the LGBT community and the stars that support it. Similar efforts are underway across the Atlantic, where the sultan’s hotel group, the Dorchester Collection, also operates hotels in London, Paris, Milan and Rome.
Women's rights organization the Feminist Majority Foundation is the latest group with celeb connections to boycott the hotel chain. It announced Wednesday that it would be relocating its Global Women's Rights Awards – an event being co-chaired by Jay Leno and his wife Mavis that was scheduled for Monday at the Beverly Hills Hotel – to another Los Angeles site, and that it will hold a rally at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday as well.

The first stage of the laws, based on the Islamic penal code known as Sharia, are set to go into effect Thursday after being delayed last week, and includes fines or jail sentences for those found guilty for things like pregnancies out of wedlock and failing to attend Friday prayers. The second stage – which introduces corporal punishments like flogging and severing of limbs for crimes like theft and robbery – will be implemented in months to come. By late next year, its harshest punishments, including death by stoning for sodomy and adultery, are set to go into effect.
Sadly it will be American workers at these hotels who will be paying the price for the barbarity of the Muslim owners. This is why Muslims should not be allowed in this country or permitted to own property or businesses. If Saudi Arabia one day buys The Walt Disney Company and we find out that they execute gays and lesbians are we going to have to boycott Disney World and punish tens of thousands of Americans for Muslim sins?
Let us be very careful of Muslims buying American businesses.
