Under Islam Rape is Safer than Consensual Sex

sex slaves in Islam

In my article Why Muslims Revolt I pointed out that violent Islamist attacks in the world can be attributed to the misery and anger of young men in Muslim countries, most of whom are unemployed, uneducated, unmarried, and with few prospects for the future (although there do exist Jihadists who are employed, educated, married and with excellent prospects for the future). In addition, because of Islam's prohibition on sexual relations between unmarried persons, we can add frustration to their anger and misery.

Since goats and sheep are hard to come by in densely populated urban areas, Muslim men only have two choices for decent sex:

  1. Have consensual intercourse which is very dangerous, since the person he is having sex with may eventually confess to a family member about the liaison, especially if she becomes pregnant or has lost her virginity. For example, under Iraq's penal code Paragraph 397 - Any person who sexually assaults a boy or girl under the age of 18 without the use of force, menaces or deception is punishable by detention. The penalty will be a term of imprisonment not exceeding 7 years.
  2. Or by rape: Paragraph 396 -
    (1) Any person who sexually assaults a man or woman or attempts to do so without his or her consent and with the use of force, menaces, deception or other means is punishable by a term of imprisonment not exceeding 7 years or by detention.
    (2) The penalty will be a term of imprisonment not exceeding 10 years if the person against whom the offence is committed is under 18 years of age.

Similar laws regarding rape may be found in all Islamic countries.

So if you are a horny young Muslim man, you have to ask yourself, which is safer: having sex with someone who knows you and can reveal your name and thus subject you to a prison term of 7 to 10 years; or raping a stranger who doesn't know you (and even if she did), would need two to four witnesses to prove the rape and then even after a conviction (unlikely) subject you to the same prison term?

In some Muslim countries, there is a "Get-out-of-jail card:" if you are convicted of rape the punishment will be waived if you marry your victim.

A casual observer must conclude that Islam thus encourages rape, and indeed, there is no equivalent term for ‘rape’ in the Qur'an comparable to how we define it in civilized cultures. As proof, ask a Muslim to cite a single verse in the Qur'an which even remotely discourages forced sex.

And if you are a Muslim with enough money to own sex slaves, then you can have all the forced sex you desire (Qur'an 4:24).
