Why Obama Does Not Take ISIS Seriously
I do not enjoy bringing this to the attention of my audience, but President Obama has a problem with his brain. While normal people are able to form clearly defined concepts when presented with cogent examples of reality, Obama cannot connect the dots, as in the case of the obvious Jihad-inspired attack at Fort Hood, which in his mind was an incidence of workplace violence or in the case of ISIS, refusing to acknowledge that ISIS is a perfect example of an Islamic organization.
The most serious defect, however, is the President's inability to ascribe danger to any entity of the Islamic persuasion. In the past four days, hundreds of thousands of people have left the Kurdish region in Syria known as Ayn al-Arab, most ending up in Turkey, as ISIS makes an unprecedented push into the area. Not bad for a group previously dismissed by Obama last January as a bunch of al qaeda manqués, or in the President's words, "a jayvee team".
I have used my telepathic powers, which abilities I have previously withheld from my readers, to delve into the nooks and crannies and folds of Obama's limited amount of cerebral cortex, to search for the reason which convinces Obama that ISIS is no threat to the United States. I have found an image therein which represents Obama's notion, quite erroneous, of the power that the Islamic State wields:
