How McDonalds Will Handle 15 Bucks an Hour Minimum Wage

People who do not need jobs should like a high minimum wage because it forces businesses to replace humans with technology which ultimately raises productivity and lowers prices. For example, at one time every elevator in New York City was operated by a human being. When elevator operators asked for too much money, building owners invested in automated elevators. Since a round-the-clock elevator operator was no longer needed, many buildings that previously could not afford elevators could now have them installed and economically operated.

And so it is with the morons asking for $15/hour to take orders for fast food. Take a look at the photo above which illustrates perfectly the saying, "Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it."

These order-taking kiosks will work 24 hours a day at a few pennies per hour and never show up in front of their owners' restaurants holding banners asking for absurd wage increases. These terminals will pay for themselves in a matter of weeks and should help keep fast food prices from rising.

McDonalds hires about one million workers in the United States every year giving those hires entry-level jobs which in turn helps those workers to eventually get more skilled, better-paying work. Soon, that won't be happening anymore.

What should the minimum wage be, you ask? My view is, for the good of teens who can't get jobs, that the minimum wage should be zero.
