The Difference Between Jerusalem and Gaza.
In response to my article Why Israelis will win against Hezbollah - Photos IDF Babes, a reader going by the handle Reasontospeak left the following comment:
More Palestinians are killed because they are not a client state of the USA and not gifted with hi tech weaponry. Israel would figure out a way to get along with Palestinians if making war was not so easy for them.
That's not true. Hamas fires the latest models of rockets and still uses their population as human shields because it makes for great propaganda against Israel. Reasontospeak makes the error of assuming that Hamas values human life - they do not. Lack of hi tech weaponry actually keeps the number of civilian casualties low. If Hamas had better weaponry there would be even more Gaza deaths because Israel would be forced to fight with more ferocity and with less time to offer warnings for Palestinian civilians to leave an area from which rockets are launched.
As for Israel needing to figure out a way to get along with Palestinians - it happens that Jews get along just fine if they are not attacked. Consider the differences in how Jews and Muslims get along in Jerusalem and in Gaza.
Rather than explain in words, I would like to illustrate this difference in the following two photos.

Now, here's a photo of a typical street in Gaza, we see how Palestinians murder Jews:
I'm just joking - those are not dead Jews lying on the ground - there are no Jews in Gaza. Those are just fellow Gazans who were merely suspected of talking to Jews. Had they been Jews instead, it would have gone much, much worse for them than simply being killed.
It happens that Jews live peacefully with non-Jews inside of Israel where Jews rule. Muslims however do not live peacefully with non-Muslims where Muslims rule - read my article The 13 Worst Countries for Christian Persecution.
It is Palestinians who need to figure out how to live with Jews, not the other way around.
