Americans Are More Likely to be Killed By Furniture than by a Terrorist - But Here is the Difference
It happens after every Muslim terror attack: Liberal Idiots mock the rest of us for falling for rightwing propaganda, Islamophobia, and fear-mongering - that the threat is overblown, that we have nothing to fear, that we are over-reacting, that we are more likely to be crushed by furniture than be victim of a jihadist terror attack.
Yes, that is true. Americans are a hundred times more likely to be killed by accident than by a terror attack. But there is a difference between a death by either of the two scenarios: for example, in the case of crossing the street, I mitigate the possibility of becoming one of the dozen or so pedestrians killed each day in our country by looking both ways before crossing, wearing light-colored clothing at night if I have to jog or exercise, and by never assuming that I have the right-of-way against oncoming vehicles.
So I can, each walking day, reduce the likelihood of that type of accidental death. What can I do to stop the influx of Muslims and the eventual Islamic dominance of our country? I'll tell you - nothing - it's a job for my government, and they are doing nothing to help.
It is not just Liberal Idiots who downplay the threat that Islam poses to our way of life, even the morons at Reason Magazine broadcast the nonsense that "You are four times more likely to be killed by a lightning bolt than by a terror attack." There is a difference however. We have few lightning deaths in our country, less than 23 last year because our country has taken steps to reduce death by lightning over the past century. I do not go out during lightning storms, for instance, carrying pointy iron pipes. Why invite disaster? But death by Islamic terrorism has increased over the past decade because our government has not reduced the risk of such deaths.
So I can, each stormy day, reduce the likelihood of that type of accidental death. What can I do to stop the influx of radicalized Muslims with K-1 fiance visas? I'll tell you - nothing - it's a job for my government, and they are doing nothing to help.
Those who make light of Islamic terror miss the point - it is not the number of deaths that matter - it is the change in our way of life. Very few Americans wake up every morning worrying about a Simmons sofa accidentally falling on their head while commuting to work.
We do not ride the subway, shop in malls, or drink coffee at a cafe with terror in our hearts about dying in a car accident, or by accidental poisoning, or drowning in a Jacuzzi. So those do not matter. What matters is how terror affects our daily life.
Some would argue that our country would be much safer without cars, although I suspect if we replaced our transportation vehicles with horses, there would be a large increase of deaths by falling off a horse.
Likewise our country would be safer without Muslims. But tell the truth, if you had to pick one or the other which would you prefer: living in a country without cars or a country without Muslims?
One day - through technology - car deaths will be eliminated. What can we do to eliminate death by Jihad? I know, we can vote for Trump.
Think about this: one day there will be millions of more cars on our roadways, but no Chevy Impala will ever force any of us to choose conversion, slavery or death.
A Pontiac GTO will never try to establish a caliphate no matter how many General Motors cars are on the highway.
Please tell me the truth - what will happen to America if we import millions of Muslims to the point that 25% of the population is Muslim? Tell the truth - don't lie - that's right - the end of our Constitution and our way of life.
France with only 10% Muslims has more than 750 No-Go Zones that are Muslim enclaves, areas that are not in control of French authorities, forbidden or too dangerous for police or any non-Muslim to enter. By 2050 France will be an Islamic nation.
Accidents happen - we can take precautions to lessen their occurrence. Muslims are accidents waiting to happen. Their deportation and a ban on their importation is the only way to lessen that occurrence.
