Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney

I have long maintained that being a liberal is a symptom of mental illness (here, here, here). After a Jihadist confessed to police that he tried to kill a Philadelphia police officer because he had pledged his allegiance to ISIS, the newly minted mayor of Philadephia, the now-world-renowned idiot Jim Kenney, uttered this bit of liberal idiocy:

"... in no way, shape or form does anyone in this room believe that Islam or the teaching of Islam has anything to do with what you have seen on that screen. That is abhorrent. It’s terrible and it does not represent the religion in any way, shape or form or any of its teachings. And this is a criminal with a stolen gun who tried to kill one of our officers, has nothing to do with being a Muslim or following the Islamic faith. That is abhorrent."

This is what liberals do, they practice political correctness to the point of national suicide:

For the Mayor to immediately pronounce that this has “nothing to do” with Muslims or any related subject is the usual, tone deaf political correctness we’ve come to expect from the hopelessly liberal. It’s not just an abject denial of reality, but yet another symptom of a society which is quickly losing the ability to defend itself and hang on to its identity. It’s suicidal behavior in a social sense and this is clearly what we should continue to expect in too many of our larger cities.

This type of thinking started with our esteemed idiot-in-chief Barack Obama when he instructed the Pentagon to whitewash the 84-page report reviewing the Ft Hood massacre by redacting any reference to Islam, Muslims, jihadists, or Allah and making our military investigators churn out the nonsense that it was merely workplace violence.

Surely liberals believe that it's possible that some terrorist attacks are inspired in a teensy-weensy, teeny-tiny, slight way based on Islamic beliefs no matter how those attackers may have mistakenly misinterpreted the Qu`ran? Well according to the reigning Queen of liberalism, Hillary Clinton: "Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people, and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism."
