What Has the Obama Doctrine Wrought

Almost two centuries ago President James Monroe announced to the world what later would be called the Monroe Doctrine, that America controlled the Americas, and that actions by any nation attempting to colonize or interfere in North or South America would be viewed as acts of aggression, by the U.S.
In early 1947 Truman announced that "it must be the policy of the United States to support free people who are resisting attempted subjugation by armed minorities or by outside pressures." Truman rightly understood that when "totalitarian regimes" coerce "free peoples", those regimes destabilize international peace and thereby become a threat to the national security of the United States.
The Truman Doctrine was obviously aimed at the Soviet Union; however, some voices objected that the Soviet threat was overblown. Even unto the present day, there are delusional leftists who write that The Soviet threat was a myth.
The Eisenhower Doctrine expanded anti-communism by providing military and economic assistance to Middle Eastern nations to help them resist communism.
The Kennedy Doctrine also supported the containment of Communism at any cost with a focus on Soviet expansionist aims in Latin America; and despite Fidel Castro's support for armed revolution in all of Latin America, there were still those who doubted a communist threat or even of any Soviet influence in Latin America at all. Of course, this position was hard to hold after Soviet ballistic missiles were installed in Cuba and aimed at the United States.
The Reagan Doctrine, to say it briefly, led to the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
The Obama Doctrine of Appeasement
In contrast to American foreign policy of the past two centuries our coward-in-chief and Muslim-terror supporter, President Barack Obama, immediately upon taking office, began his overly idealistic and naïve policy of promoting appeasement with our country's enemies.
So what do we have as a result?
Syria is exporting millions of refugees to Europe and the Middle East which is destabilizing and threatening the peace of the entire area thanks to Obama's waffling.
Iraq is completely unstable and one-third of the country is ruled by an Islamic Caliphate thanks to Obama' early pullout from that country.
Yemen, in a civil war, is a completely failed state with the headquarters of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula based in Yemen, thanks to Obama the Saudi terrorists now in Yemen had been released from Guantanamo Bay.
Sweden, the most liberal, tolerant and ass-kissing country in the world is deporting tens of thousands of Muslims.
European society is unraveling with indigenous citizens attacking new immigrants.
Libya is a basket-case - and is now home to various terrorist organizations who control large parts of the country and even make incursions into neighboring countries.
China is building new Islands in the South China Sea expanding its hegemony in Asia, and so thumbing her nose at the United States.
Iran has no problem humiliating America by showing American sailors in shackles, and so thumbing her nose at the United States.
North Korea is testing long-range missiles and atomic bombs with impunity.
Russia easily sashayed into Crimea and annexed a part of a sovereign country, and so thumbed her nose at the United States.
The Israel-Palestine conflict is worse than it has ever been.
Boko Haram in Nigeria, stronger than before Obama came long, is kidnapping girls from neighboring countries and using them as sex slaves.
Islamic terror is on the rise and Obama has helped create the most powerful, the best organized, the most-media savvy, terror group in the history of the world.
According to Leslie Gelb (an assistant secretary of state under Jimmy Carter, a Council on Foreign Relations member and a former New York Times columnist), because of Obama's incompetence we now live in "one of the most dangerous periods since the height of the Cold War."
Obama actually believes his foreign policy actions have been successful. For example, during the State of the Union last year, President Obama claimed "In Iraq and Syria, American leadership — including our military power — is stopping [ISIS]'s advance." Oh really? What an arrogant asshole.
