Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, aka the Brief Sharif, appeared in court on Monday and told the judge he had fired his lawyers and wanted to represent himself.

Jewish Law only applies to Jews. Actions that would be violations if committed by Jews do not affect gentiles. For example, many religious Jews hire a Shabbat goy to perform certain acts on the Sabbath which are forbidden to Jews within Jewish law. A religious Jew using a full body scanner may violate Jewish law, a goy doing it certainly does not.

If Muslim women start this new fashion of bombs in breasts, then I wonder how that will affect the anti-war group known as Breasts Not Bombs.

As I predicted in my previous article: "If one wants to look at the bright side, those full-body scanners may now feel less intrusive." So today the Netherlands announced it will begin using more full body scanners for flights heading to the United States.

So, we find out that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's underwear hid the same powder (pentaerythritol tetranitrate) used by "shoe bomber" Richard Reid who tried to blow up an American Airlines jet to Miami in 2001.

If one wants to look at the bright side, those full-body scanners may now feel less intrusive. A few months ago the Guardian asked its readers, "Which form of airport security is more intrusive: the new x-ray scanner or being frisked?" The response? 32.7% preferred to be frisked physically than scanned electronically.

If people dressed in yellow clown outfits and fake purple noses crashed into the World Trade Center buildings on 9/11 and were involved in the London bomb attacks, the Madrid bombing, the Bali Bombing, and the Mombai massacre, the last thing I would do is put on a yellow clown outfit and attach a fake purple nose even if being a clown were my profession. After 9/11, after more than tens of thousands of attacks Muslims should stop being Muslims. Don't dress Muslim - don't look Muslim. You should be ashamed.

Everything is offensive to "adults with heightened sensitivities." Should Jews be thrown off planes because they're offensive to Muslim passengers?

Suppose the shoe bomber had instead been a female wearing exploding panties? Would women boarding airplanes be required to wear their panties on the outside?

"Here's to John. This man shows us that the law-abiding, honest, brave citizen is still very much with us."
