If I were Muslim I would Stop Looking like a Muslim

I saw this last month and meant to comment on it: Nine Muslim passengers were kicked off a flight from Washington, D.C., to Florida after other passengers reported hearing a suspicious remark about airplane security (1). It seems they were profiled because of they looked like Muslims.

Now this is their fault. If people dressed in yellow clown outfits and fake purple noses crashed into the World Trade Center buildings on 9/11 and were involved in the London bomb attacks, the Madrid bombing, the Bali Bombing, and the Mumbai massacre, the last thing I would do is put on a yellow clown outfit and attach a fake purple nose even if being a clown were my profession. After 9/11, after tens of thousands of (2) Muslim attacks Muslims should stop being Muslims. Don't dress Muslim - don't look Muslim. You should be ashamed.

Now the question may be asked that if some radical Quaker group instead of Muslims had attacked us on 9/11 would I be asking people not to look Quaker? I doubt the American public would regard anyone dressed as a Quaker as a threat and would have considered the event as an anomaly unlikely to ever be repeated. Of course, if any Quaker Holy Book ever demanded the conversion, subjugation or death of non-Quakers, and if Quakers were involved in violence, barbarity, brutality, savagery and world conquest as Islamists have been for centuries, then yes, I would say that anyone dressed as a Quaker or acting Quaker should be profiled when getting on a bus, train or plane.

Osama bin Laden did the world a favor when he awakened us to the threat of moderate Islam, for it is the non-reaction of the moderate Muslim world to Islamic terror that has been the most revealing of that pernicious so-called religion.

If you are Muslim and live in America and sadly you are stuck being a Muslim because your family will kill you if you convert then there are a few rules to help you cope with living as a slave to a cult you cannot leave, read my article Things you should not do - if you are a Muslim

Islam Review, 9 Jan 2009, 9 Muslim passengers kicked off flight after remark

Nine Muslim passengers were kicked off a flight from Washington, D.C., to Florida after other passengers reported hearing a suspicious remark about airplane security.

AirTran Airways spokesman Tad Hutcheson called the incident on the New Year's Day flight from Reagan National Airport to Orlando, Fla., a misunderstanding, but defended the company's response. He said the airline followed federal rules and did nothing wrong.

One of the Muslim passengers, Kashif Irfan, told The Washington Post the confusion began when his brother was talking about the safest place to sit on an airplane.

"My brother and his wife were discussing some aspect of airport security," Irfan said. "The only thing my brother said was, 'Wow, the jets are right next to my window.'"

Irfan told the newspaper he thought he and the others were profiled because of their appearance. The men had beards and the women wore headscarves, traditional Muslim attire.

Irfan, 34, is an anesthesiologist and his brother is a lawyer. Both live in Alexandria, Va., with their families, and were born in Detroit. They were traveling with their wives, Irfan's sister-in-law and Irfan's three sons, ages 7, 4 and 2. A family friend also was traveling with the group to a religious retreat in Florida.
