Those of us who have been to New Orleans usually have these words to say: "dirty, smelly, filthy, sewer-smeared, crime-ridden, etc." And that just the people, the streets and tenements are even worse. And I'm talking about before Katrina. Rebuilding New Orleans makes as much sense as building schools over Chernobyl and about as safe....

When a drug addict nearly ODs on heroin you should never send him more heroin. Sending money to New Orleans only enables losers to continue living in an area not meant for human habitation.

For God's sake, stop contributing Katrina relief money. This only encourages these people to move back into the same sinkhole nature graciously removed them from.

The mayor of New Orleans apologized on Tuesday for saying the hurricane-ravaged city would be rebuilt as a "chocolate" city and for blaming the storm on the wrath of God over U.S. involvement in Iraq.
