Now it seems, we're in for Global Cooling.
If you are a Liberal you want to believe in global warming precisely because the US won't join the Kyoto Protocol or because George Bush is opposed to the US signing the treaty. Liberals ignore what even I learned in school years ago, that the Sun goes through an eleven year cycle and that man's activities affect almost nothing of the world's climate cycle compared to the effect of sunspots (1).
Liberals will ignore the fact that Al Gore is looking at the Earth's climate through a tiny window and that the melting of the ice caps seen in one small pane of that window can be seen refreezing in another. Indeed, as the Global Warming alarmists pointed to a few years of warm temperatures we now discover that Alaskan glaciers are getting thicker for the first time in 250 Years (2). That's right boys and girls, very shortly we may need to be taxing countries for not generating a larger carbon footprint to keep the planet from freezing.
Then a few years later we can swing back the other way depending on the weather that winter. Yeah, let's do that. It's time that those leftists who are all in favor of global warming just admit that the true goal is not saving the Earth but rather subjugating the United States to a higher, global power: a world government where Capitalism is discarded as a failed economic system and the great socialist advances in Zimbabwe and Cuba can reign triumphant.

A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore’s chief scientific ally, Dr. James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

If there is any global warming it is caused either by hot women or Muslims and their fertility; for example, the largest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia, with very little industry, became the third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases in the world last week (3).

Canadian scientist Kenneth Tapping of the National Research Council has also noted that solar activity has entered into an unusually inactive phase, but what that means—if anything—is still anyone’s guess. Another solar scientist, Oleg Sorokhtin, a fellow of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, however, is certain that it’s an indication of a coming cooling period.
Sorokhtin believes that a lack of sunspots does indicate a coming cooling period based on certain past trends and early records. In fact, he calls manmade climate change "a drop in the bucket" compared to the fierce and abrupt cold that can potentially be brought on by inactive solar phases.
Sorokhtin’s advice: "Stock up on fur coats"…just in case.
