This has nothing to do with rumors or lies about Muslims. I am simply taking faithful Muslims at their word: that the dar al-Harb (the non-Muslim world) is corrupt and kaffirs need to be subjugated, converted or killed.

This also has nothing to do with Muslims being different. In my article Immigrants Should Mind their own Business I noted that waves of immigrants came to America and found success because they minded their own business and did not try to make America accommodate their culture unlike Muslims today: "No Jews required the public school system to stop serving pork even though til this day Jews are the largest ethnic group in New York City. No Jewish cab drivers refused to carry gentiles for any reason. Despite pigs being an anathema to Jews as they are to Muslims, no Jews asked the local banks or stores to remove piggy banks from their windows. Despite millions of Jews in New York, Christmas Celebrations in New York continue unencumbered or complained about. Despite being the most dominant force in Hollywood, Jews produced the most number of films about Christmas or Jesus or any other Christian theme."

So my Beef with Muslims is not that they are different, but that Muslims want the rest of us to be like them. In my comment to my own article, I wrote:

The same applies to all the other ethnic groups. Here in New York I daily go to Chinatown and note the Chinese banks, Chinese restaurants, Chinese clinics, Chinese shops, Chinese style phone booths, Chinese billboards, and how much it looks like Hong Kong yet I do not feel as if I'm in a foreign country. No one in Chinatown feels as if foreigners have taken over. The Chinese kids wear American style clothing, listen to our music, look and act American. No one fears that the Chinese want to make the rest of the country follow their rules or their customs or their beliefs with threats or violence. They contribute to the dynamic that has made this country the envy of the world.
