Here is a funny: Jihad is not Terror
By Bernie on 04 Jan 2010
One of five Americans arrested in early December in Pakistan for terrorism said their aim was to go to Afghanistan to wage jihad against Western forces and thus was not terrorism since it is justified under Islam.
Ramy Zamzam, one of the young Muslims from the Washington, D.C. area said, "We are jihadists, and jihad is not terrorism." 1
Ahhh, trying to destroy Western civilization is not terror, it is merely a friendly method of convincing Americans that they must accept Islam or die. Well, that certainly clears up some confusion I had in my mind about Islam. For years I have been mislabeling my Jihadist friend Osama bin Laden as a terrorist, would you believe? It seems I owe an apology to the New York Times; I have written numerous articles [click here] on how the paper was aiding and abetting terrorists and all this time they were merely aiding and abetting kind and gentle Jihadists.
As I wrote in a previous article, young blacks, born and bred in America who turn to Islam, are a greater threat than al-Qaeda to the security of this country. They speak our language (or close to it), act like Americans (or close to it) and can freely roam around the country or other parts of the world wherever an American passport can take them.
It is time we started looking closer at our homegrown Jihadists. It is time we stopped allowing Muslim chaplains to infiltrate our prisons and convert fairly harmless criminals into raging Islamic extremists.
The image above of the Twin Towers at sunrise is exactly what I used to be able to see from the top window of my home in Bayonne, New Jersey before 9/11. A bunch of Jihadists destroyed that view when they snuffed out 2996 innocent lives. But I suppose that wasn't terrorism.

Huffington Post, Americans Detained In Pakistan Deny Terror Plans
One of five Americans detained in Pakistan said their aim was to go to Afghanistan to wage jihad against Western forces, defending their intention as justified under Islam.
But he denied any links to al-Qaida or plans to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistan, as alleged by Pakistani authorities.
Monday was the first time the young Muslims from the Washington, D.C., area have addressed a court after being arrested in early December in the eastern Pakistani city of Sargodha. The case has spurred fears that Westerners are traveling to Pakistan to join militant groups. Pakistani police have said they plan to seek life sentences for the men under the country's anti-terrorism law.
"We are not terrorists," one of the men, Ramy Zamzam, told The Associated Press as he entered a courtroom in Sargodha on Monday.
"We are jihadists, and jihad is not terrorism," he said.
Jihad has several different meanings in Islam, but Zamzam seemed to be referring to the duty to fight against foreign forces viewed as occupying a Muslim country.
