Before any of my readers proceed, I need to give a warning - actually two warnings regarding images I display below. I have only included snippets so that a casual visitor does not accidentally alight on a page with offensive images.

1. For my Muslim readers: please be advised that clicking on the first image will present a larger view that you will find offensive and decadent.
2. For my non-Muslim readers: please be advised that clicking on the second image will present you with a view you will most likely find offensive and frightening.

Some of my readers may recall my article Volcanoes and European Right Wing Parties where we discussed the fact that right-wing, ultra-conservative parties in Europe (mistakenly labeled neo-fascist) have become very powerful in reaction to large non-assimilating, Muslim immigrant populations.

For example, the Swiss People's Party (SVP), the leading anti-Islamist group in Switzerland is now that country's largest political party. The SVP was responsible for initiating the "stop minaret" movement.

We came across the following twin campaign poster at sonia-belle's blog who informs us that the SVP last November promoted an anti-immigration referendum using these images to push an anti-Islamist agenda:

I believe the Swiss People's Party is giving the voters a clear choice.
