Being a billionaire does not exempt one from being an idiot. I have already reported on the idiocy of \Warren Buffett (1), Bill Gates (2) and Mayor Bloomberg (3). Now I would like to add Steve Jobs.

Yeah, I know he's dead and we don't like speaking ill of the dead, however he did something very, very stupid when he first found out that he had cancer: instead of immediately operating on the tumors he dove into voodoo medicine which he later regretted.

In spite of pleas from family and friends, he tried to cure himself through acupuncture sessions, drinking special fruit juices, visiting "spiritualists" and using other treatments he found on the internet.

Some cancer experts have said that Mr Jobs may have extended his life or even survived if he had promptly tackled his cancer aggressively with scientifically proven medical treatments.

This explains why so many Americans mistakenly believe Islam is a religion (read Islam is a Phony Religion): if billionaires can make stupid, idiotic mistakes, so can ordinary people.
