Muslim Women Should Not Wear Hijab
In response to my article 13 Things to Consider before Hiring Muslims, a Muslim reader left the following comment: (I edited for brevity and readability)
Hello all I am a Proud Muslim and a former U.S. soldier who proudly served this country at the young age of 17 from July of 2001 until one year ago.
I became a Muslim at 14 before I ever joined the army. I was born an American and Muslims are not a race pf people. I do not have a problem with working with any other faith as long as they do not get in my face and call me derogatory names. I know many Muslim Brothers and Sisters who understand that we do not live in an Islamic Country and this country is built upon different Principals. With that Being said I wear my Hijab to work. I work in Marketing and I wear a Hijab (head Scarf) Al Amirah - you can look the style up if you like. It does not conflict with my work in any way.

You must understand that I stood up for this country proudly not promoting terrorism and fighting against those who tried to use my faith as a cover up for one of the most horrendous crimes in History. These people are not Muslims and all Muslims are not Terrorists just like most Christians are not in Oklahoma blowing up buildings in the Name of God.
I replied:
My dear Muslimah, why do you wear a hijab, are you so clueless that you do not realize that it is the symbol of the oppression of women in Islam? It is not only sad but insulting to women everywhere that you choose to wear such oppressive headgear. Imagine if Jews were stupid enough to go around wearing yellow patches on their sleeves, wouldn't that be insulting to all other Jews? Such clueless Jews should be slapped in the face and spit upon. That intelligent Muslim women do not slap you in your face and spit on you just shows how brainwashed all of you really are.
As I noted in my article Muslim Women are Delusional: Muslims ... have invested their entire lives in their religion and because they themselves are decent, hard-working, non-violent, intelligent people they cannot see Islam for the savage, primitive, violent, intolerant, oppressive, cruel, ruthless, and brutal political system it really is.
