I Do Not Follow a Double Standard in Regard to First Date Sex
The generally accepted view regarding women who have sex on the first date is that such women are whores and that men lose respect for them and will not date them nor ever develop a relationship leading to marriage.

So, the question is, “If a woman waits to have sex does it make her a better candidate for an eventual relationship?” Couldn’t it be that she is just tricking the man, into thinking that?
We as woman are already subject to the way men think and know that he will DEFINITELY have more respect for us if we wait. Then there are women who are decent and who get cast aside automatically, because of one intense night of passion.
Despite what women think that men think, the UK's leading sexpert Tracey Cox informs us of a recent study showing that first-date sex doesn't lower a woman's chances of being involved in a long-lasting relationship:

A new American study of 640 adults in Chicago has unearthed a rather surprising result: couples who slept together on the first night were just as likely to end up happy long-term as couples who put off doing the deed until they became more serious.
Good news for all the not-so-good girls who spend the next day’s ‘walk of shame’ paranoid and panicking that the guy won’t call because he got what he wanted.
Yes, that's right, girls who sleep with men on the first date are just as likely to have a long-term relationship as those who don't "put out."
This is certainly true for women who I have dated; as I wrote in my article When To Cut Off a Relationship, "... if I didn't get to at least third base on the first date, I just wouldn't see the girl again."
While certainly there are some men who will not not see a woman again if he had sex on the first date, I am the exact opposite: I will not see a woman again if we do not have sex on the first date. Am I not the better person morally?
Anyway, as final proof of the matter, I am married to the same woman for more than 37 years. And, yes, we had sex on the first date - lots and lots of it.
