Winter Poem
This winter was one of the coldest on record in parts of the Midwest, according to an official government climate report (1). But that is precisely what I warned six years ago when Global Warmists were incorrectly predicting that our planet was plunging into irrecoverable global warming.
Of course now that we have not had an increase in average world temperatures in over 17 years (2), the phrase "Global Warming" has been deprecated in favor of "Climate Change." In this manner leftists can blame Capitalists for the weather whether it's hot or cold.
Since we can't take any of these "Climate Change" scientists seriously, allow me to offer you this frivolous poem to cloak ourselves against the winter wind:
Winter
Round and round the seasons spin,
And having spun one takes its ease,
Linger here icy death will win,
So warm your soul with Mac and Cheese,
or dream of gold-toned Japanese.

Winter 2013-2014 was one of the coldest on record in parts of the Midwest, according to the government's official monthly climate report released Thursday.
NOAA's National Climatic Data Center said that the period from December 2013 through February 2014 was the 34th coldest such period for the contiguous 48 states as a whole since modern records began in 1895.

Climate Depot, No global warming for 17 years 3 months
The RSS monthly global mean lower-troposphere temperature anomalies for November 1996 to October 2013 had shown no global warming for exactly 204 months – the first dataset to show the full 17 years without warming specified by Ben Santer as showing the models got it wrong.
After the sharp global cooling in November, the RSS data for September 1996 to November 2013 show no global warming at all for 17 years 3 months, despite a continuing record rate of increase in CO2 concentration.
