Schools Going Nuts with No Hugging Zero Tolerance

no hugging allowed

In these politically correct times there is no shortage of schools adopting a zero tolerance regarding students hugging each other. Last week a Florida middle school girl was given detention after she hugged her friends before classes began for the day:

Fox News, 4 Nov 2015, Florida eighth-grader reportedly given detention for hugging her friends

The Jackson Heights Middle School eight-grader told WKMG Tuesday the hug lasted “literally for a second.” The disputed contact has the girl’s parents questioning the Oviedo school’s policies.

The Seminole County School District’s policy bans “inappropriate touching” but leaves the decision to reprimand students for breaking the code up to principals, according to WKMG. Jackson Heights bans any kind of hugging.

This is no isolated incident, hundreds of schools have done likewise and in the years to come it will be thousands. Consider the following tiny sampling:

Fox News, 3 Nov 2011, Student Suspended for Breaking School's Zero-Tolerance No-Hugging Policy

PALM BAY, Fla. – A 14-year-old Florida student who hugged his friend was suspended as a result of his middle school's zero-tolerance no-hugging policy, myFOXorlando.com reported.

Nick Martinez said he gave a quick hug to his best friend, a female student, between classes.

The public display of affection was spotted by the principal of Palm Bay's Southwest Middle School, 74 miles southeast of Orlando. While the principal said he believed the hug was innocent, he brought the two students to the school's dean, who penalized them with in-school suspensions.

YouTube, 18 Mar 2010, No hugging at school?

Students at West Sylvan Middle School are being told they can't hug each other anymore and the principal also issued a strict warning about revealing attire.

New Jersey 101.5, 21 Mar 2012, Parents, Students Baffled When NJ Middle School Bans Hugging

Over the loud-speaker last week, hundreds of students at Matawan Aberdeen Middle School heard their principal announce they were in a “no hugging school.”

Some students came home confused and upset after hearing the announcement, resulting in concerns and questions from parents.

According to David Healy, Superintendent of Schools for the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District, the brief announcement from Principal Tyler Blackmore was prompted by “the excessive, observed and reported, welcomed and unwelcomed hugging or physical contact between students.”

If you think that suspending students for hugging is sick, how about one school that charged a four year old with sexual harassment?

As I wrote in a previous article: "What kind of sick pervert thinks young children should be charged with sexual harassment for hugging? What we need in this country is for our young children to hug each other more, otherwise they will have no outlet for their emotions other than coming to school one day with a gun and blasting everyone in sight, which now I am beginning to understand more and more each passing day."

I pity American children who have to endure the stupidity of the administrators of middle schools and then when attending college be under the tutelage of liberal idiots.

There is little hope for the future of America if this keeps up.
