I Like To Watch Movies When I Fly
Although I only fly 2 times a year, I have found no shortage of topics to complain about: Stinky Passengers, Reclining Seat Abusers, space hogs, and Muslim Airline Crews.
If I don't sleep during a flight, the next best thing to while away the hours is to watch a movie. My rant for today is all about rude fellow passengers who fail to notice that I am trying to watch a movie. For example, there is always one that doesn't notice or doesn't care that his window shade is open and letting the sunlight overpower the movie monitor. I mean, really, at 35,000 feet if there isn't an ogre tearing up the fuselage outside, then there's nothing interesting to see out your window, Close the shade you moron.
Then there's the young kid sitting next to me with his earphones blaring so loud that I can't make out the dialogue in the movie.
Of course, the child behind me just has to bump-a-d-bump the back of my seat with his restless legs.
But the worst distraction to my movie watching is when a young person taps away, klackity-klack, playing some game on his or her smartphone. For example, this young lady's tap-tapping on her phone made it impossible for me to pay attention to my movie.
I cannot tell you how much she distracted me.
