Old Jew at the Wailing Wall
By Bernie on 03 Aug 2006:
In Jerusalem, CNN journalist Lotta Twotta (formerly of the New York Times) heard about a very old Jewish man who had been going to the Wailing Wall to pray, twice a day, everyday, for a long, long time.
So she went to check it out. She went to the Wailing Wall and there he was!
She watched him pray and after about 45 minutes, when he turned to leave, she approached him for an interview.
"Sir, I'm Lotta Twotta from CNN, formerly at the New York Times before they downsized, but that's not important, how long have you been coming to the Wall and praying?"
"For about 60 years."
"60 years! That's amazing! What do you pray for?"
"I pray for peace between the Christians, Jews and the Muslims. I pray
for all the hatred to stop and I pray for all our children to grow up in safety
and friendship."
"So, how do you feel after doing this for 60 years?"
"Like I'm talking to a f#@&!ng wall."

In my opinion, Muslims have no sense of humor, however some of the jokes coming out from Hezbollah lately may make me reconsider:
Hezbollah: "What is the difference between a mortar shell and a dead baby?"
CNN: "What?"
Hezbollah: "It's hard to lift a mortar shell out of the rubble with a pitchpork"
Hezbollah: "How many dead babies will it take for the world to cry massacre?"
CNN: "How many?"
Hezbollah: "One. If you photograph him enough times."
Here's a riddle from me with a turban tip

What's the difference between Gaza, Beirut, and Israel?

Beirut:

In a disgusting article the Times has made the suggestion that President Bush has given the "impression” that he is "willing to stomach the killing of innocent children.” To date this is one of the sickest liberal views I have yet to read. Clay Waters shares his views on this op-ed.
That's how I see it after reading this Washington Post article. In part it states:The Qana conspiracy theory not only underscores how the Internet can misinform (an old story), it also reveals a popular demand for online content that attempts to explain away news reports that Israel (and by proxy, its closest ally and arms supplier, the United States) was responsible for the deaths of dozens of women and children in a Hezbollah stronghold.
