Muslim Jokes are Good for Muslims from Planck's Constant

There are over a million jokes about Jews. I even posted jokes about Jewish Mothers. There are hundreds of types of jokes and an equal number of reasons for telling them. Of all the Jewish jokes you may hear, I have no doubt that the majority of them have been created and told by Jews themselves. One of the purposes of a joke is to lubricate the wheels of social intercourse. Jews made themselves more acceptable to the rest of America through vaudeville, through self-deprecating humor.

There are two ways to make a joke: the first and most important is to make you laugh, the second and the most vile is to make you hate. You will rarely hear a Muslim make a joke about Jews that is actually funny. The purpose of the cartoon seen here is certainly to make one despise the Jew.

Let's analyze this cartoon for a moment. Muslims would have you believe that just as the Nazis destroyed one-third of all the Jews (out of 19 million in 1939) in an attempt to exterminate every last living Jewish soul and which people had no national home, so too are Jews (19 million in 2008) now trying to exterminate 1.5 billion Muslims who have 56 national homes ¹ (and growing every year). Poor Muslims on the verge of extinction because of the dreaded Jew. Yeah, that makes sense.

There is nothing wrong with ethnic jokes as long as the purpose is not to encourage hatred. The purpose could be to defuse anger or to make a political comment or to suggest improvement in lifestyle. Chris Rock for example makes fun of what he calls niggas, blacks who glorify ignorance and laziness, but not because he hates them, but because he fears them. When told that the media was perpetuating these negative stereotypes, Chris responded, "When I go to the money machine tonight, alright, I ain't looking over my back for the media: I'm looking for niggas!" Chris isn't looking to exterminate niggas, he's trying to encourage them to change their behavior.

I have published a number of posts under the rubric of Muslim Jokes. I certainly do not hate Muslims, most of them cannot help being Muslim and certainly those living in any country with a substantial Muslim population can't change even if they wanted to, rather I fear them. In my articles I try to spread the warning of the threat that moderate Muslims pose, not because they purposely mean us harm, anymore than a typhoid carrier means to harm anyone, but rather because they pose security problems when a good number of them concentrate in an area.

When there is only one Muslim in town, it is easy to spot a potential terrorist; when there are a thousand Muslims in an area, Jihadists may find comfort, shelter, support and safe housing among some of the Muslims without easy detection on our part. When there is only a single Muslim family in town, it is less likely that schools, libraries and businesses will kowtow to their demands for pork-free zones or to declare some activity as being insulting to Muslims. If Muslims were like Quakers, that is, non-violent, then few would complain if there were a million of them in town.

Muslims get offended at anything said critical of their religion. Very few Muslims appreciate the difference between a racist epithet and an ethnic joke. Here by example is the difference:

Q. How many Palestinians does it take to change a light bulb? A. None - they just sit there blaming the darkness on the Jews.
This is a harmless joke because it has some basis in truth. Palestinians would rather live in the darkness and curse the Jews than change a light-bulb. If you are not Palestinian you can laugh at their foolishness; if you are Palestinian then this joke may suggest a remedy for your ignorant behavior: light a goddamn candle.

Q. How many Palestinians does it take to eat a Jewish baby. A. The answer doesn't matter because Palestinians do not eat Jewish babies and attempting to make humor on a complete lie for the purpose of furthering hatred is no joke.

I do not draw cartoons of Muslims doing things that they would never do. But Muslims do draw cartoons of Jews killing Muslim babies to use their blood to make Passover matzohs.

All jokes, if they have some basis in truth, will offend someone. If they have no basis in truth they are simply racist lies; but if they offend precisely because they are true then they serve a useful social purpose. By making fun of Muslims we let off steam that otherwise would fuel violence toward them. Muslims would do well to begin laughing at themselves instead of being offended that people say truthful things about them.

If I make a joke about Muslims stoning a woman to death, don't take me to task, change your religion so that such jokes will not be made. Force your religious leaders to declare that stoning is barbaric and savage. Jews did. Over 2,000 years ago. It's about time Islam came out of the dark ages.
