Germany is in serious decline, but it is almost impossible within Europe to discuss why.

Thilo Sarrazin is a Deutsche Bundesbank board member and a former Senator of Finance in Berlin who has been a longtime critic of German immigration policies. In an interview which appeared in the September 2009 edition of the cultural magazine Lettre International, he said that immigrants sponge off the state, are incapable of integrating themselves into German society and "constantly produce little girls in headscarves."

As a result of his statements critical of Muslims he came under police investigation for breaching Germany's anti-racism laws. But that did not stop him. Two months ago, Sarrazin stirred the pot even more by saying, "We are becoming ... on average dumber" and linked that claim with integration "from Turkey, the Middle East and Africa."

Last month he came out with a book sure to get a fatwa aimed at him:

Sarrazin's book Deutschland schafft sich ab ["Germany Abolishes Itself"], presented at the end of August 2010, came under criticism for stating that there are tendencies in Germany's Muslim population to be reluctant to integrate and to rely more on social services than to be productive. Furthermore, he calculates that their population growth may well overwhelm the German population within a couple of generations at the current rate. He proposes stringent reforms for the welfare system to rectify the problems [Wiki].

For these insults against Muslims it's likely that this will be his last month at the Bundesbank. Sadly, one cannot speak the truth in Europe, if one is speaking about Muslims.

Here's the truth: the CIA's The World Factbook entry on Germany has two disturbing statistics about the powerhouse of Europe:

• Population growth rate: -0.053% (2010 est.)


• Net migration rate: 2.19 migrant(s)/1,000 population (2010 est.)

The population of Germany is declining despite the huge number of immigrants still coming in. Sadly, Germany is experiencing a quadruple whammy:

1. A brain drain: record numbers of its most educated and qualified citizens are fleeing the country in the biggest mass exodus since the 1940s (1).


2. Immigrants are still coming in but few with any skills or education (2)..


3. The remaining native Germans are hardly reproducing (Fertility Rate 1.41)


4. The immigrants without skills are heartily reproducing (Fertility rate 2.40 for ethnic Turks)

More than three years ago I wrote in The Sunset of Christianity:

When a white German needs welfare he does so for a short period of time and when he gets work he goes back to contributing so that the welfare system can continue to function. But if you have a permanent Muslim underclass that has no intention of working or ever getting off of welfare the collapse is inevitable.

Again in my 2007 article It`s the demographics, stupid I wrote:

I am 62 but I expect to see in my lifetime a number of formerly Christian countries in Europe turning Muslim. There are five reasons for this dismal, frightening prognosis:

1. Muslims are immigrating to Europe in unprecedented numbers.


2. When they get there, Muslims are reproducing faster than a bacterial infection.


3. Muslims cleverly exploit the European welfare state further burdening the youngest and hardest working thus encouraging further emigration.


4. European Christians are fleeing from the growing Muslim infestation and consequent barbarities.


5. The Christians who remain are not procreating fast enough to maintain their numbers.

Everything I wrote is coming to pass. Germany is losing control of its country. Three years from now, I will report only worse things for that country. Instead of the powerhouse of Europe, Germany will be the poor man of Europe.
