Some of my readers are familiar with the fact that Muslims, in public, like to say that women should be covered up for modesty sake while they, in private, top the list in Google searches for sex-related websites (1). For this reason I have for years laced my articles with sexy keywords as honeypots to draw Muslim readers to my blog; for example: young girls raped, Muslim sex with goats, beautiful, naked, tiny girls who love to be brutalized and beaten, etc.
Certainly Muslims do not come here to read my Islamophobic rants against Islam.
However, as much as Muslim men may enjoy looking at naked infidel women, they do not at all enjoy Muslim women protesting in the nude. Take for example the efforts of Aliaa Elmahdy, an Egyptian internet activist and women's rights advocate who has gotten death threats (2) for challenging Egypt’s social structures by publishing nude photos on her Blogspot page, which she described on Facebook as "screams against a society of violence, racism, sexism, sexual harassment and hypocrisy."
Aliaa has received symbolic support from many women around the world. Here Israeli women pose naked in Tel Aviv in support of Ms. Elmahdy.
In a related matter, female members of the Iranian Communist Party and the Organisation Against Violence on Women have staged a Femen-style topless protests against the wearing of hijab (the traditional Islamic headscarf). Of course this protest is not taking place in Iran but in Stockholm, the girls may be bold and daring but they're not crazy.
Days before International Women's Day, the activists bared their breasts and protested with slogans 'My nudity is my protest' and 'No hijab' painted on their chests and backs. They also held posters from past Femen demonstrations. In a video of the protest, a masked woman could be heard singing 'No to Sharia law', 'No to religion, just freedom, just equality', 'Hijab is not my choice' and 'Down with the Islamic Republic of Iran'.

Google, the world’s most popular Internet search engine, has found in a survey that mostly Muslim states seek access to sex-related websites and Pakistan tops the list. Google found that of the top 10 countries - searching for sex-related sites - six were Muslim, with Pakistan on the top. The other Muslim countries are Egypt at number 2, Iran at 4, Morocco at 5, Saudi Arabia at 7 and Turkey at 8. Non-Muslim states are Vietnam at 3, India at 6, Philippines at 9 and Poland at 10.
Israel News, Ynetnews, 17 Nov 2011, Egypt activist posts herself nude, sparks outrage
A woman activist who posted nude pictures of herself on her blog to protest limits on free expression has triggered an uproar in Egypt, drawing condemnations from conservatives and liberals alike.
Some liberals feared that the posting by 20-year-old university student Aliaa Magda Elmahdy would taint them in the eyes of deeply conservative Egyptians ahead of Nov. 28 parliamentary elections in which they are trying to compete with fundamentalist Islamic parties.
