In my article Sensitive Urban Zones in France - Muslim Ghettos, I reference French Government maps which designate No-Go Zones or areas in France which no longer belong to the French State.

A reader from the UK, who inappropriately gave himself the handle Wisdom, called me intolerant and racist and that I was scare-mongering:

These zones may very well be no-go zones but they still belong to France. How many lands did France occupy and colonize in the past? That was perfectly acceptable, right? You are just scare mongering because you cannot handle multiculturalism. Get out a little, you may discover you enjoy it. The problem I have with your kind is that you are racist and I have nothing further to add. I don't debate with animals. Tata!

Well, my dear Wisdom, allow me to take your points one at a time:

• If you cannot enter an area, then the fact that the area belongs to you is rather a worthless observation and certainly does not negate my argument.


• Regarding prior French colonialism: one wrong does not justify another.


• As for scare-mongering: I inform my readers that Egypt, Persia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Indonesia, Nigeria, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Syria, Kazakhstan, Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Tunisia, Guinea, Somalia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Sierra Leone, Libya, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Chad, Lebanon, Albania, Mauritania, Kosovo, The Gambia, Comoros, Djibouti, and the Maldives were once Muslim-minority countries long ago and are now Muslim-majority countries. If that scares you, then yes, I am scare-mongering. If that doesn't scare you, well, then you're an idiot.


• As for handling multiculturalism: I am an immigrant Atheist Jew of Polish descent, born in a Muslim country, studied in Israel, traveled to dozens of countries, who has successfully assimilated into a predominantly Christian country, so I believe I can handle multiculturalism, but the kind that encourages integration into the host country, not the kind that we find in France where the majority of so-called French Muslims do not even speak French or even consider themselves French.


• On the charge of Racism: Did I lie in my article in order to demean Muslims? Did I fabricate any of the information in my article in order to show that Muslims are inferior? Where did I write that white people like me are superior to Muslims? Or is it that the truth makes Muslims look bad and somehow that makes me a racist? If so, then every news organization in the world, including Al Jazeera is racist.


• You have a problem with my kind? Animals? Who is racist now?


• You decline to debate me? I understand why.
