The Aztecs were a very advanced civilization for their time achieving remarkable architectural and artistic accomplishments; it should also be noted that women were highly regarded. Interestingly, they were also concerned with Global Warming and were one of the first to put into place programs to control the climate; for example, at least 20,000 human sacrifices a year were needed to keep the sun moving

If you are a Liberal you want to believe in global warming precisely because the US won't join the Kyoto Protocol or because George Bush is opposed to the US signing the treaty. Liberals ignore what even I learned in school years ago, that the Sun goes through an eleven year cycle and that man's activities affect almost nothing of the world's climate cycle compared to the effect of sunspots.

I am often asked by those with limited intelligence, "How can I become a liberal?" I usually respond by telling them they don't have to do a thing, they're already liberals. On the other hand, let's assume you have a college education and an IQ over 100 and you still want to be a liberal, what then? Well, in this particular case of mental disorder one has to be able to logically hold two contradictory points of view.

Before World War Two, there were many in America that did not see the coming threat of Nazi Germany. Appeasement was, of course, legal. If the appeasers had won control of Congress would we all be speaking German now? Probably. Were they a threat to the survival of our country? Obviously in hindsight yes. And yes that's a Dr. Seuss cartoon.
