This is of course newsworthy because of its rarity: Jews are among the smallest number of violent criminals all over the world.

America has had two colossal failures since its founding: the War on Alcohol and the War on Drugs. We all acknowledge now that the former facilitated the fantastic growth and power of the Mafia. Sadly, our politicians have yet to admit the public corruption and the creation of new gangs we have encouraged by the latter. Drug criminals now control our border with Mexico. We spend $1,673.45 per second per day on the greatest failure in our history the only result of which is that we have now become the prison capital of the world with no diminution of drug use to show for decades of effort and billions spent each month.

Truce, to civilized peoples, means that both sides wish to stop the killing and perhaps find a negotiated solution. Truce, to uncivilized peoples, and by uncivilized peoples I mean Muslims, means buying time to rebuild until the next assault.

The Aztecs were a very advanced civilization for their time achieving remarkable architectural and artistic accomplishments; it should also be noted that women were highly regarded. Interestingly, they were also concerned with Global Warming and were one of the first to put into place programs to control the climate; for example, at least 20,000 human sacrifices a year were needed to keep the sun moving

The problem with almost all non-Muslims is that they assume Islam is a religion just like Christianity and Judaism. Nothing could be further from the truth. Mohammed (PBUH) in fabricating his military/political system took note that the great military/political systems previous to his own, the Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Roman, Assyrian, Egyptian, all withered and died while the Jews, who were everywhere in the lands of the Arabs, persevered.

Yes, Virginia, there are Jews in this world who are not a light unto the nations. Jews have eyes and hands, organs and dimensions, senses and passions just as anyone else. Jews are hurt and healed, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer just as anyone else. And being human they sometimes do bad things. Reader Amr brings to our attention something that was already widely bruited about, in America because it is another hoax tied to Oprah Winfrey, in Europe because it simultaneously satisfies anti-American envy and anti-Semitic hatred, and in Islamic countries because feeds the Jew-hatred of the hungry masses of Muslims.

The only thing keeping a cease-fire from happening is that Hamas refuses to stop sending missiles into Israel. So I thought about that for a few minutes. Yes, Gaza is in a humanitarian nightmare caused by Hamas' refusal to stop its war against Israel. Now it seems to me that Hamas is able to kill one Israeli every 2 or 3 months. In consideration of being able to kill one Israeli this month, Hamas is willing to give up the lives and well-being of 1.5 million Palestinians.

The difference between the two is very simple: here is Ford's 22 Pound, 2,215 page, 2007 Contract with the UAW in 5 volumes. The Coke can is for scale although the scale of stupidity of the automakers' management in agreeing to anything of this size is incredible.
Now take a look at the one page contract with workers for Japanese manufacturers.
