In response to my article Hamas Military Handbook, reader Amr commented: "Armies can be built, arms can be bought, soldiers can be trained, imagine the will of 1.5 Billion people if we had the right leadership, and if big states and empires were removed or collapsed.. what make you think that the so called Israel is eternal?"

Reader jFp has commented a few times wondering why the Jews didn't settle in Uganda instead of Israel given all the hostile opposition to allowing Jews to have a homeland in the Holy Land. jFp is also under the misapprehension that many Jews were in favor of the British offer known as the "Uganda Program". According to our government, al-Shihri allegedly traveled to Afghanistan two weeks after 9/11 to provide money to fighters there; also, as an alleged travel coordinator for al-Qaida, he was also accused of meeting extremists in Mashad, Iran, and briefing them on how to enter Afghanistan.
There are anywhere from 20,000 to 40,000 Hamas soldiers. There are 1.5 million innocent civilians. Even if you are a complete moron you should be able to do the following math. 40,000 divided by 1.5 million is 1 soldier for every 37.5 civilians. So if one simply dropped a bomb in gaza and blindly killed 1200 people there would be 32 Hamas soldiers and 1168 innocent civilians. Even the UN, the best friend Hamas can have, estimates that 25% of the dead are civilians.

Almost all second and third generation Americans no matter where their ancestors came from sound just like Americans. There are Muslims of every nationality: Egyptian, Indonesian, British; of every race: Negro, Asian, Caucasian; members of many cultures and inhabiting every continent on this planet. Since the Gaza War started London's Metropolitan Police says it has recorded an increase in antisemitism in London. Thankfully some British Muslims have denounced those attacks. The leaders said that British Jews "should not be held responsible" for Israel's actions in Gaza. As much as I appreciate that there is some humanity among UK Muslims, it is still disappointing that these same people in the past eight years have not denounced Hamas for bombing schools, hospitals, temples and civilians in Israel.

There are Muslim apologists who know that Palestinians are murdering, savage, backward, violent, primitive, barbaric beasts but will still take any fact reflecting unkindly on Palestinians and turn it against Israel. There exist many self-loathing Jews who want to present to the world the image of tolerance and understanding and so despite knowing the fact that Palestinians are murdering, savage, backward, violent, primitive, and barbaric beasts they blame Israel for forcing the Palestinians to be so; if it weren't for the so-called brutal occupation of Gaza, they reason, the citizens of that craphole would be minding their own business and hurting no one; ignoring the fact of course that Israel left Gaza alone more than three years ago.

And while it must have been hell for Londoners to endure air raid sirens for 8 months in a row, it's nothing compared to the 8 continuous years of rocket attacks, now more than 50 a day, that Israelis had to and continue to endure.
